The workshop on "Baryon-Baryon Interaction and DibaryonicSystems" was held in the Physikzentrum Bad Honnef, June13-16, 1988. It provided an informal setting for lively discussionsand exchange of ideas between experimentalists andtheoreticians working in the field. The topics coveredranged from (lack of) evidence for narrow dibaryonicstructures via few particle systems with electromagneticprobes, nucleon-nucleon scattering upto nucleon--antinucleonscattering and strange dibaryonic systems. If the workshopcould be summarized at all, it would be by stating that, although there seems to be sufficient experimental materialand a fair agreement on its theoretical interpretation asfar as low-energy phenomena (i.e. upto the region of the$\Delta$(1232)-resonance excitation) is concerned, the reallychallenging area involving composite hadronic systems athigher excitation energies is still mainly "terra incognita".This compilation contains copies of transparancies used atthe workshop. They were collected and summarized in keywordsby Björn Feldkeller and Michael Fuchs, whose assistanceotherwise is also greatly acknowledged. It is a pleasure to acknowledge the help of Bernard Metschwho was vital for the preparation of the Workshop and itssuccess. Furthermore, the hospitality of Joachim Debrus andhis crew at the Physikzentrum Bad Honnef made the workshop apleasant and enjoyable one. |
