In a joint project with juris GmbH, the Federal Ministry of Justice makes almost all current federal law available free of charge on the Internet for interested citizens. The laws and legal ordinances can be accessed in their current version. They are continuously consolidated by the documentation center of the Ministry. The regulations that have not yet been processed by the documentation office and that have been newly promulgated in the BGBl I can be accessed directly via the topicality service. Important: The legal texts available on the Internet are not the official version. These can only be found in the Federal Law Gazette. For all laws, reference is made to the current status of the last amendment. Since some time is required for consolidation work, particularly in the case of extensive amending legislation, the status is not always up to date on a daily basis.
