The GESTIS substance database contains information for the safe handling of hazardous substances and other chemical substances in the workplace, such as the effects of the substances on humans, the necessary protective measures and the measures to be taken in the event of danger (incl. first aid). In addition, the user is informed about important physicochemical data as well as special regulations for the individual substances, in particular for classification and labeling according to GHS in accordance with the CLP Regulation (pictograms, H-phrases, P-phrases).
