An Investigation of the Ds+ Pi0 - DK - Ds+ Eta coupled channel dynamics

We investigate the dynamics of the coupled channel system consisting of the D(s)(+)pi(0)-, DK-, and D-s(+) eta-channels. We find that in the isoscalar channel a DK-molecule is formed due to the attraction of the t-channel meson exchange potentials. This may explain the observations by BaBar, Cleo, Belle and others of a narrow D-s(J) state at 2317 MeV. We thoroughly investigate the influence of isospin breaking via mass differences, p omega-and pi eta-mixing on this molecule since within our model only isospin violating processes contribute to the width of the molecule. If the D-sJ(2317) is assumed to be a pure molecule we predict a width much smaller than the current experimental tipper limit. |
