The 14th edition of the Carolus Magnus Summer School on Plasma and Fusion Energy Physicstook place from 20 September to 1 October 2021. The biennial Carolus Magnus SummerSchool (http://www.carolusmagnus.net/) is organised by the Trilateral Euregio Cluster (TEC),a partnership between fusion institutions from Euregio: the Laboratory for Plasma Physics ofthe Royal Military Academy (ERM/KMS) in Brussels (Belgium), the Belgian NuclearResearch Centre (SCKCEN) in Mol (Belgium), the Dutch Institute for Fundamental EnergyResearch (DIFFER) in Eindhoven (The Netherlands) and the Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ)(Germany). All these institutes are also members of the EUROfusion Consortium, whichsupports and funds fusion research activities on behalf of the European Commission’s Euratomprogramme. Due to the Covid-19 pandemics, the 14th edition of the Carolus Magnus SummerSchool, originally scheduled to take place in Bad Honnef, Germany in September 2020, wasfirst postponed and then organised as a virtual event, hosted by Forschungszentrum Jülich. |
