This dataset contains cytoarchitectonic maps of the distinct subdivisions (central nucleus (Ce), medial nucleus (Me) and anterior amygdaloid area (AAA)) of the centromedial amygdaloid group (CM amygdala) in individual sections of the BigBrain. Delineations of these subdivisions were result of the cytoarchitectonic analysis of the CM amygdala in coronal histological sections at 1-micron resolution of the BigBrain dataset. They have been transformed to the sections of the 3D reconstructed BigBrain space using the transformations, which were provided by Claude Lepage (McGill). |
