This dataset contains cytoarchitectonic maps of the distinct subdivisions (lateral nucleus (La), basolateral nucleus (Bl), basomedial nucleus (Bm) and paralaminar nucleus (Pl)) of the laterobasal amygdaloid group (LB amygdala) in individual sections of the BigBrain. Delineations of the subdivisions were result of the cytoarchitectonic analysis of the LB amygdala in coronal histological sections at 1-micron resolution of the BigBrain dataset. They have been transformed to the sections of the 3D reconstructed BigBrain space using the transformations, which were provided by Claude Lepage (McGill). |
