The CDC data catalog describes climate data in the DWD and provides access to data, descriptions, and access paths. By climate data we mean observations, derived statistical key figures and spatial analyses. In addition to climate data from Germany, the CDC also includes global climate data that are collected and processed within the framework of international cooperation at the DWD. The CDC data catalog is under construction and therefore not yet complete. The aim of the CDC data catalog is to standardize access to different data centers and data holdings in the DWD, to describe the climate data holdings of the DWD according to international metadata standards, to make the catalog information available on the web, to support the search for data holdings, and to facilitate access to descriptions and data.

Various maps and diagrams, e.g. retrospective and climate diagrams worldwide. You can call up the (mostly long-term) measurement series of the daily values of various weather parameters for thousands of weather stations worldwide. This makes it easy to see, for example, how hot, cold, windy, wet or even snowy it was on a particular day or over a period of time in the past at a particular location.
